Your Help Can Change a Life.

Did you know that women are underrepresented in leadership roles, with only 29% holding senior management positions globally? Additionally, young women face a 14% higher unemployment rate. By supporting BSLS, you help us provide essential life skills, personal empowerment, professional development, financial literacy, and career readiness. Our work ensures that young women break through systemic barriers and achieve their full potential. Join us in creating a brighter future for all women and young girls.

What our community says.

BSLS is something I can hardly put into words. Coming into college, it was difficult for me to find what my path was, and I was nervous to put myself out there. I knew friends in BSLS and liked their message, so I decided to try. After going to my first BSLS Interest Meeting, I felt so entirely welcome and accepted that it truly brought me out of my shell even before joining. I had finally found the sisterhood I needed to grow on campus. BSLS became a safe space for me and my sisters. I have been able to connect to so many people and build relationships with my sisters. I now happily serve on the Executive Board, knowing that there's a love like no other between us. From laughs to adventures to hard conversations, they've been there. BSLS has become so much more than a college organization. For me, BSLS has brought me lifetime relationships of strong women who I can depend on and community of happy and healthy bonds. I would go to the end of the Earth for my sisters!🧡💜

"My name is Sheila S. I am a second-year finance major at Florida State University. I joined Big Sister Little Sister Mentoring Program my second semester as a freshman. I sought out BSLS because I wanted to be a part of an organization that was going to make me feel at home even though I was hundreds of miles away from it. This organization has been everything that it has stated itself to be and MORE. Before I was even a member, all of the current members were so welcoming and accepting of who I was and what I stood for. With the presence of BSLS, I have been able to build numerous connections with sisters while also interacting with the Tallahassee community. I have been able to laugh and cry about my journey here in college and I've had a group of women ready and willing to be there for me. For that, I am and will always be grateful for BSLS as a whole."

"Big Sister, Little Sister was more than just an org to me! It gave me the opportunity to meet some of the most kind-hearted women on Michigan State's campus. It was always good vibes. We were able to create a safe space for women to share their goals, fears, and feelings all while constantly uplifting them. From volunteering to tailgates, to bus rides around campus you could easily find a fellow sister to keep you company. I proudly served on the E-board during my time at Michigan State. For a fact I know that through any obstacle BSLS is here to stay."
